 Carbon steel pipe is a type of steel pipe with carbon as the main component, usually containing small amounts of elements such as manganese, silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur.

Classification:

By purpose: Structural steel pipes, fluid conveying steel pipes, oil and natural gas pipeline steel pipes, chemical industry steel pipes, manufacturing steel pipes, etc.
By production process:Seamless steel pipes: Manufactured through rolling, drawing, or extrusion processes at a solution temperature higher than 770℃.
Welded steel pipes: Fabricated by welding, further divided into straight seam steel pipes and spiral seam steel pipes.
By outer diameter and wall thickness: Common outer diameters include 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, etc., and common wall thicknesses include 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, etc.
By material: Classified into Q235, 10#, 20#, 16Mn, etc., based on the content and proportion of carbon and other elements.

Production Process

Pipe blank preparation: Select appropriate steel as the pipe blank, and prepare the required size of pipe blank through hot rolling or cold drawing processes.
Welding preparation: Pre-treat the pipe blank, such as rust removal and sandblasting, to ensure welding quality.
Welding process: Heat the pipe blank and filler metal to a molten state, form a uniform mixture at the weld, and then solidify the mixture into a weld through pressure or magnetic field action.
Post-treatment: Straighten, cut, drill, and other processing for the welded pipes to meet the needs of different projects.
Inspection and packaging: Carry out mechanical property tests, appearance inspections, etc., on the finished steel pipes to ensure product quality, and finally pack and transport the steel pipes.
