Commonly used in scenarios requiring smooth diameter changes to minimize fluid resistance (e.g., pump inlets/outlets, heat exchanger connections).
Advantages: Provides smooth fluid flow with minimal pressure loss.

2. Eccentric Reducer

Feature: The centerlines of both ends are offset, with one side flattened (either the bottom or top edge is straight), creating an asymmetrical cone shape.
Application Scenarios:
Flat on Bottom: Used in horizontal pipelines for liquid media to prevent gas accumulation at the top (e.g., condensate lines, centrifugal pump inlets).
Flat on Top: Used in horizontal pipelines for gas media to avoid liquid pooling at the bottom (e.g., steam lines, compressed air pipelines).
